The first trainees were accepted into the MAGNET program at the beginning of September. We are pleased to welcome 6 trainees (1 MSc, 3 PhD, 2 PDF) from UBC and McGill. They are working on topics ranging from the application of transition metal isotopes in mine tailings and the study of isotopic heterogeneity of mafic layered intrusions to the use of Nd as a water mass tracer and CO2 emissions at active volcanic centres.
